I was minding my own business being boring as usual when somebody cared to offer me some gum, In order to try and be a bit less boring and make some conversation I decided to accept the gum and quit playing ninja gaiden on my cellphone. It was some strawberry bubblegum from one of those obnoxious brands that make bubblegum. I was about to start making some conversation when I realized it had been a long time since I tried strawberry bubblegum and the striking part about it was that it didn't even taste like strawberries at all. After that, instead of making conversation I started writing about the nonsense in artificial flavoring. 

I don't really know why the hell do people insist on calling it strawberry flavor if it doesn't taste like strawberry at all. And that's not the end of the story, have you ever tasted banana flavored gum? Or any other fruit flavoured gum, drink, candy, etc? its just nonsense. The first thing that comes to mind is What on earth where this people thinking? I mean, everybody knows strawberries, at least here they do and I don't live in a country where fruits are some sort of eccentricity to the point that there's people that have never tasted real cherries like in the USA, I live in Mexico for gods sake, I eat fruits for breakfast, REAL FRUITS and drink mango and orange juice after school REAL ORANGE AND MANGO JUICE. So who the hell do this people think they are? Do they think they are some sort of reincarnated god that's here for the sole purpose of reinventing flavours? Seriously who the hell do they think they are? They are only making an ass of themselves cause it doesn't taste anything like it.

 The surprising thing is they have been at it for quite some time now. I mean as far as I remember that darn strawberry bubblegum has been there since I was a child and it pretty much tastes the same regardless of the brand. Where do this guys get their recipe? I mean if it was just one of them Id understand, they fucked up; but no, they are out there by the thousands! And its the same thing with all of them, banana, peach, strawberry, pineapple, apple, cherry, lemon, orange, etc. If your just going to fuck it up why the hell would you even bother? Why don't you stick with your surrealistic flavors like tuttifrutty or whatever that's called, that's not even supposed to exist so it doesn't really matter what it tastes as long as its not trying to fool anybody into thinking it actually taste like something real, by the end of the day its still just sugar kids will eat it anyways cause they have bad taste and that's their target market. 

I'm sure the bubblegum flavour industry doesn't really bother most of you, hell I rarely eat bubblegum but this problem is big; this problem is far worst that what you might think of. Its not only the fucking bubblegum industry, the whole darn world seems to be going insane. I go to any random 7-11 and its filled with nonsense, you've got your orange flavoured soda that doesn't taste like orange at all, you've got some others pretending to be apple flavoured that taste like sugared soda water on X, the worst part is those fucking sunny delight, Florida 7 and whatever other obnoxious brand that have orange juice and claim to be made from 100% REAL ORANGE JUICE, seriously those are some fucked up guys, that doesn't taste like orange juice at all and if they are wasting their oranges in trying to make that shit they are only making it more expensive with their stupidity.

I mean I understand the whole process of making orange juice and preserving it so that you can actually sell it around the world is pretty much impossible unless you do some very obvious taste alterations but why the hell would you even pretend its real orange juice? That shit is radioactive for all I care IT TASTE LIKE A WHOLE LOT OF SUGAR that's the main description for pretty much every single artificial and even most non artificial flavors that are around the stores today; sure when you look at the ingredients it clearly reads non artificial flavoring BUT IT STILL TASTES LIKE SHIT. They are just wasting perfectly good fruits that people could actually enjoy.

To top it off they make money out of it. I just cant think of somebody willingly buying that stuff and actually expecting it to taste like what they claim to be, unless you obviously don't have any idea of what fruits taste like. I mean sure I understand it from countries like the USA where they didn't have anyone to be farming stuff cause they sent everybody to the darn Vietnam war and then instead of looking for a solution to be able to continue with farming they started spending loads on marketing fake stuff, hell people actually ate SPAM and Powdered milk and thought it was good for themselves! Canned food was the future IN THE PRESENT! It was the best thing ever happened to them UNTIL THEY ACTUALLY REALIZED IT TASTE LIKE SHIT AND ITS VERY BAD FOR YOU. But now its too late to go back, they don't sell orange juice in the USA anymore cause people got used to it being a commodity. They don't realize the only reason its a commodity its cause the fucking guys at Sunny Delight are using oranges for their shitty drinks and they pay more than the population does for oranges so farmers would rather sell it to Sunny Delight than the population themselves. Now we have people dying from lead poisoning because of canned foods, people who have never tasted real oranges, people who have never tried real cherries. BUT THAT'S THE USA NOT MEXICO.

I agree globalization brings a lot of different products to different countries but this is just nuts. Why on earth would somebody walk into a 7-11 and buy orange soda when WE HAVE PLACES DEDICATED TO MAKING JUICE 24 HOURS A DAY HERE. Slowly people that actually drink real fruit juice are becoming eccentrics cause for some strange reason people just stopped caring about what they drink or eat. Maybe evolution is changing humanity so that now most people around the world HAVE BAD TASTE. 

And sure I eat candy, I eat artificially flavoured candy WHEN I CANT FIND ANY FRUITS TO EAT. I eat 3 Mangoes a day, REAL MANGOES. Sure some artificially flavoured candy doesn't actually taste bad at all, hell I like jolly ranchers, but its just annoying for them to try and pretend that their candy actually tastes like fruit, IT DOESN'T. I heard from a guy studying chemistry that they get the flavouring from the smell, cause its very difficult to get the taste. So sure a banana bubblegum might smell somewhat like a real banana smells but that doesn't mean I'M BUYING IT SO THAT I CAN SMELL IT. 

Seriously I wonder who the hell decided to invent this sort of flavoring and what where they on at that time. I guess strawberry bubblegum sort of tastes like strawberries WHEN I'M ON X!
